16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence 2024

Each year, this period is used to promote awareness of the breadth and seriousness of gender violence, and encourage actions that aim to end violence against women and girls.

An Ecumenical service of Lament

Holding the Light is a service to remember victims and survivors of family and domestic violence. To be held in person at Wesley Church, Melbourne, VIC and livestream.

When: Thursday 28 November, 5:30 pm AEDT

 And will not God grant justice to his chosen ones who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long in helping them? I tell you, he will quickly grant justice to them. And yet, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?’  Luke 18:7-8

Can I invite you to join with me in not giving up, and maintain our commitment, to pray for peace and justice as we trust in God together.

At the NCCA Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 7 November 2024, three Directors were elected to the NCCA Board for the next three years.

The AGM included the election of Rev John Gilmore as President for a second term of three years.
